Product
We developed a fully customized Shopify store based on a strategy addressing the brand values and objectives.
One of the key objectives includes facilitating access to each product's information (as well as its benefits) under an intuitive and dynamic navigation scheme maintaining a clear user journey during the purchase.The online store and the launch campaign complement each other, reinforcing the image and strategy to reach the target market.
Objective
Deliver the responsive design of Claudiana Beautanica web store for the development team.
Design process
Using the product's column system, each component was adjusted based on the size of the target device. There were 12 columns for desktop, 8 columns for tablet, and 4 columns for mobile.
For improved readability, the positioning of certain elements or functionalities was changed to maintain user engagement while they were reviewing a product, its ingredients, or seasonal offerings.
Throughout this process, rounds of approval were held with the art directors to ensure the aesthetics that the website needed to showcase.
Impact
The work was done with no issues in the expected timeline for the development team to apply it. Creating a seamless experience between devices.
The client was really happy with all awareness and product orders that was receiving from the launch campaign of the brand: “The online store and the launch campaign complement each other, reinforcing the image and strategy to reach the target market”
Learnings
Even tough creating a minimal site looks easy, an store have so much content and sites that we need to observe and understand every detail, in order to show easiest way to the user to complete the intended experience: knowing about the brand, their products, its ingredients and make the choice of buying it.
This experience help me understand better the use of a column system for a responsive site, and how design components based on the focus of the product.
